A Tale of Two Egos

I'm not sure which is worse. The latest from Pat Robertson or the latest from Joel Osteen.

Thoughts?

Pat has been going off the deep end for a while, But Joel is part of the "lie" that has been sold to the church and greedily bought by those who want to hear what sounds good in their own hearts.
The stuff that People like Joel and Rick Warren are preaching is corrupting His bride and soon He will remove His protection so that His church will be purified. I am called to bring this message to those who would hear and be spared from this judgment. This is scary stuff and I hope that the church repents and turns back to Him.

I started reading Joel's book, but haven't had much luck...with having to constantly scrape off all the fecal matter. I wish they both would stop telling people that they are 'Christians'...bad advertisement.

Could it be that BOTH are drawing audiences of 'itching ears'?

Just curious...

howie,
good to see you, bro!

At least if I follow Joel, I know I'll have clear skin and perfect teeth!

(Of course, I'll probably have to start using hair gel...)

Tom,

I am not sure how much of my blog you have read, but I have touched on it some in my blog. The basics are that G_d has called me to be one of his prophets for this time. Some time in the relatively near future He is going to remove His hand of protection from this country because we have ceased to follow after Him. When this happens the church will come under great persecution. Many in the church today have bought a lie of prosperity thinking and a gospel that has left them without knowing the true Savior in favor of feel goodisms. He wants me to preach His message of our sin and his loving provision for our sin so that we will repent of our ways and be spared or so that those who do believe when these hard times come we will be prepared

That is it in a nutshell and it does to some extent make me look like a nutcase. I know that and I am prepared for it. Were not most of His prophets looked down upon in their times?
